Apple Cinnamon Overnight Steel Cut Oatmeal

I love steel cut oats. I am very thankful for Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Steel Cut Oats. Even though Oats are gluten free, so many of them are processed in machines that also process wheat so it makes them not safe for Celiac's. However, Bob's Red Mill have Certified Gluten Free Steel Cut Oats. Yay! Now on to an easier way to have your oats ready for you in the morning. If you have made Steel cut oats before you know it can take a while.  If you have some jars, you can make very healthy steel cut oatmeal that will only take 5 minutes to heat up in the morning.

Gluten Free Apple Cinnamon Overnight Steel Cut Oatmeal
4 cups boiling water
1 cup steel cut oats
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 cup applesauce
8 packets Stevia

You will need 4 mason jars.
Add 1 cup boiling water, 1/4 cup steel cut oats, 2 packets of Stevia, 1/4 cup applesauce, and a dash of salt to each jar.
Cover with lids and shake. Let stand overnight.

The next morning, shake,  remove lids and heat in microwave for 5 minutes, OR reheat over the stove for 5 minutes.
